Our advisors possess the specialized industry knowledge and expertise to assist our portfolio companies in a variety of engagements and assignments -- sellside and buyside M&A mandates, capital-raising activities, joint ventures and strategic alliances, asset sales, executive recruitment, and broader support in finance, marketing, strategy and operations.

Operational depth.

The 'advisory' portion of our name is intentional and specific. Our group is comprised of highly experienced operations and finance professionals with deep relationships and domain knowledge in the key markets in which Citron Capital focuses. These individuals work closely with our portfolio companies to help shape strategy, improve operational efficiency, and develop successful fundraising strategies. At times, these advisors step into interim operating roles to assist our companies through key inflection points and help recruit experienced personnel to fill those roles long-term.

Our advisory group functions first and foremost as a long-term strategic counselor to Citron Capital portfolio companies. Every transaction or assignment under consideration is continually reassessed to ensure that the long-term strategy is maintained, rationales are clear and unfettered by potential conflicts, and the involvement of our advisors ultimately enhances shareholder value. We are committed to solving long-term strategic issues for our portfolio companies and clients and we often incorporate aspects of management consulting and investment banking into our interactions with portfolio companies.

Client-Service Orientation

We believe that providing strong, hands-on strategic support and market knowledge is essential to the long-term success of our portfolio companies -- not broad market assessments or arms-length participation. Most of our advisors have many years of senior-level operating experience which enables them to develop the unique rapport with entrepreneurs and management teams not typically available at more traditional venture capital firms, investment banks or strategy consulting organizations. Additionally, Citron Capital is structured as a fairly flat, non-hierarchical organization. As such, there exists no 'B team'.  Every interaction with our advisory group is given senior-level attention.

Citron Capital does not invest in nor advise companies that are market competitors nor does it engage in securities trading of any kind nor is it engaged with brokerage organizations or financial entities that would in any way compromise our integrity or objectivity.
