Citron Capital is a global multi-stage venture and private equity investment firm.  We were founded on the principle that truly exceptional returns occur when a deep knowledge base and industry focus are matched with a seasoned investment team, a highly disciplined investment orientation and a diversified set of cross-border capabilities in finance, operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

The firm pursues a diversified investment model of venture capital and private equity investments. The firm is comprised of two discrete best-of-breed practice groups — a stage-independent venture capital group that focuses on technology, communications and media, and a private equity group that focuses on buyouts of stand-alone technology, communications and media companies as well as acquisitions of non-core businesses, assets and 'special situations.' This multi-stage and multi-platform approach creates more robust deal flow for the firm, greater options to assist our portfolio companies, and more opportunities to efficiently and consistently put investor capital to work and generate strong returns for our limited partners.

We are aggressive growth investors seeking opportunities to invest in private companies at all stages. However, our strong preference is for companies that are currently at, or are fast approaching, critical inflection points, where our strategic insight, relationships and long-term focus can bring specific and demonstrable value to the equation.
 
We work in close concert with existing management teams to support strong long-term value creation. Often times, we are actively involved in recruiting the necessary talent a company lacks and/or making the critical introductions to bring a company and its products/services to its fullest potential.
